Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Sterling's 61, and now it is time for you to post until the sixty-one cows come home.

How did we manage to do (post-wise) in seven hours, what we usually do in 24 hours??

I think that Vixmom's scary story helped with the count.

Well, even though I have the day off from work today, I don't have the day off.  Every Labor Day, the local Labor Council holds a picnic for union members and this year, I volunteered to help (we always do the cooking).  This year (every year?) it's held at Stan Hedwall Park park in Chehalis, which is about 25 miles south of where I live, so I have to get up early enough to get there early enough so that I will actually be there on time, which is officially at 11:30 am.

Have a good day, all!

Today is the last day of the State Fair. I won't be going again - I really don't like the big crowds.

Good morning, all.

Wouldn't have minded sleeping in a bit, like yesterday (which I didn't get to report), but the dreams were getting so crazy it's just as well I'm up.

I mean, testing out an airplane engine in a small apartment and finding gasoline running all over the place is a bit much now, don't you think?

Possibly because there is no fair.

But I wouldn't go anyway.

NYC's first new subway station in 26 years opens this week. Hudson Yards will be the city's 469th station. And within walking distance of the Javits convention center.

That's always best; then you can't stay too long (at the fair).

Good morning, all!  I wanted to sleep later, but it would screw up the rest of my week. I did sleep rather well last night, so that was good.
