I have little to report, as you can tell.

Do I remember correctly that DR BEN said that his new office space is in the Open concept as opposed to cubicles or offices?

Last night's family night went surprisingly well....we had about 25-30 people....all family members of one person or another.....and they were greatly entertained.  Lots of laughs - for everyone.

There are 8 people in the cast, and the director divided the bows up thusly.....

1. Worst Actress in the World
2. Daria & Martha
3. Simon & Aggie
4. Felix & Madge
5. ME

I told the director that I didn't mind sharing a bow with Vickie who plays my mother Martha....that would give us 4 sets of two....he said no, he likes it the way it is....

So the Worst Actress in the World gets a solo bow.......

I brought a funnel so the guy putting the ginger ale in the champagne bottle would have an easier time.  I told the stage manager and she said no....she doesn't use them, she uses a rolled up paper plate.  She doesn't want to make it easy for the boys.....  ???

She also just posted that she didn't know that Phylicia Rashad played the witch in a production of INTO THE WOODS, and she wishes there was a recording of that version....because she loves PR.......

ANYWAY....the show is fun to do.....but it could be so much better....with just a few additions.....but I'm going to stop making suggestions.  It just gives them another chance to tell me no....

My friend from church who fell asleep at the wheel is facing two surgeries, at least one today, on his neck. His daughter has been released but is understandably distraught over losing her mother and the condition of her father.

Saw an article this morning on how open workspaces are hell on us introverts. Well, duh!

I don't know if Ben is one, but it can't be helping matters any.

Sorry that there are so many frustrations on this production, JRand.

Wednesday morning greetings!  We are finally expecting a break in our heat and humidity and I only hope is comes without too much stormy weather.  Richard and I have a dinnertime errand to do at IKEA - Swedish meatballs, anyone?

Wow. Live the new song, BK. As someone who has my fair share of restaurants like C. C. Brown's over the years, I really experienced quite a few taste memories.

Staying in the blessed, blessed AC today.  I think this is our last day of the real heat.  Tomorrow, a break, and probably the same thunderstorms DR Ginny hopes aren't too violent.  I hope that, too.

This is so weird:

I was out a couple of times yesterday to run errands, and felt fine.  Then about 6:30 in the evening I sat out on the deck for ten minutes enjoying a cool one in the 91 degrees...and what happens?  The allergy attack from Hell, that's what happens.  I was miserable the rest of the night.

Doing much better today, thank the gods.  But that's another fine reason to just stay the hell inside.

I believe he did. When he and Anthony visited on Monday, he said they have great views of Staten Island, and Brooklyn(?), and my impression was they were in an open space with windows facing every way.  I also had the impression that the work situation at this time was mentally wearing.

Really? She is such a horribly inept actress! I saw her in a Shakespeare play (Cymbelene, maybe?) at Lincoln Center. She had no idea what she was doing.
