This Ohio lecture is turning into my worst nightmare: the entire world is showing up.

Oh my!

Why is that a nightmare, Elmore?

Same as when I was acting: I never wanted to know who was in the audience.

Have you all seen the photos of the released Kim Davis with her husband, Ted Cruz, and Mike Huckabee? She's the county clerk, and must make a decent salary.  Her husband, for someone on national TV, looks straight out of a bad production of LI'L ABNER in his bibb overalls, straw hat, and T-shirt.

If I knew i would be in a press conference and appearing on television, I would at least try to spruce up.  These hicks are the trailer trash poster children.  They're the nightmare Ma and Pa Kettle.

Last night's family night went surprisingly well....we had about 25-30 people....all family members of one person or another.....and they were greatly entertained.  Lots of laughs - for everyone.

There are 8 people in the cast, and the director divided the bows up thusly.....

1. Worst Actress in the World
2. Daria & Martha
3. Simon & Aggie
4. Felix & Madge
5. ME

I told the director that I didn't mind sharing a bow with Vickie who plays my mother Martha....that would give us 4 sets of two....he said no, he likes it the way it is....

So the Worst Actress in the World gets a solo bow.......

I brought a funnel so the guy putting the ginger ale in the champagne bottle would have an easier time.  I told the stage manager and she said no....she doesn't use them, she uses a rolled up paper plate.  She doesn't want to make it easy for the boys.....  ???

She also just posted that she didn't know that Phylicia Rashad played the witch in a production of INTO THE WOODS, and she wishes there was a recording of that version....because she loves PR.......

ANYWAY....the show is fun to do.....but it could be so much better....with just a few additions.....but I'm going to stop making suggestions.  It just gives them another chance to tell me no....

Would anyone in the cast want to take a bow with the worst actress in the world?  ;D

Do I remember correctly that DR BEN said that his new office space is in the Open concept as opposed to cubicles or offices?

Saw an article this morning on how open workspaces are hell on us introverts. Well, duh!

I don't know if Ben is one, but it can't be helping matters any.

It isn't good on us talkers either though I think a cubicle would be claustrophobic for me.

DR elmore, yesterday we entered the mall through a nice men's store before I realized it was the Men's Warehouse that Richard suggested you buy your new suit.

As I have often thought, parturient montes, nascetur ridiculus mus -- literally, "Mountains will be in labour, and an absurd mouse will be born" -- but meaning "all that work and nothing to show for it".  Story of my life....

(feeling a bit underappreciated today although I get lip service to the contrary).

Yesterday set heat records in Bay Area, including Oakland.

Today will not be "as" hot....only 95 or so, so they say.

TOMORROW, however, is expected "to get hot"!

I finished my orchestration. Tomorrow I will take it to Staples and scan it for the arranger to look over. I can now begin the orchestra part layouts for both numbers and get back to the Moross show.

Energy waxing and waning like crazy today. Thankfully I am at home.

Got a lot of work done but also took two nap breaks.
