Outrage on Facebook is insane.  There is ALWAYS going to be SOMEONE who disagrees with your "outrage" about something.  If you post it on Facebook, that person for some reason feels compelled to reply.

I once said something about President Obama preempting Judge Judy, and you would have thought I had threatened his life.  I said the same thing when President Bush preempted a show.....I think at least 2 people "unfriended" me.

And HEAVEN FALLS if anyone writes anything even slightly critical of Dame Clinton.

So I don't write or read political posts ANYWHERE.

I use Facebook as a communication tool, but it's not much fun as it used to be.  And of course there are E N D L E S S pictures of babies and children.....

Back.  And there's one thing I can say:

The hazardous waste has left the building.

Jrand - LOL, I recall being annoyed many years ago when a Judge Judy legal case that looked very interesting started at around 4 pm, and the station very quickly cut in with the arrival of the Pope.

I wonder if DR vixmom has passed the last Indian River (and the like) Fruits and Souvenirs tourist stop yet.  God help me, I am a sucker for those places.

Anthony just left for a class in baroque dance. DR Ben is sick with a cold, and I hear he is doing a lot of overtime.  i told Anthony to tell him that he is missed on HHW.

I've been reading Christopher Plummer's entertaining autobiography.  i cannot believe there's been no release of the complete 115-minute ROYAL HUNT OF THE SUN on DVD.

Mowing done!

Mooing, too, probably.

I wonder if the neighbors hear the mooing and think I bought a cow to keep the grass and weeds short.  I wonder if that isn't in fact a pretty good idea.  Besides, we need the eggs.  No, wait...

This afternoon, I will work a bit more on my presentation for Oct. 7, and I need to contact the people at Wright state, since there's been no reponse to my last email of questions.

Annoying. But typical these days. Sigh.

Answer vibes to Larry!

One thing I must do this morning is gather stuff to take to our local hazardous waste dump day.  Old paint cans, cleaners, fluorescent lightbulbs, etc., and be rid of them.  It's ridiculous we get but one whole day a year to do this.

I know what you mean. In Alexandria we had only one or two days a year and sometimes you're just not available on that day. It needs to be more often.

Speaking of hazardous waste, I'd like to see less of it in my building. As in next door. They do recycle their beer bottles. You can hear them; it makes a racket. I'm glad they're recycling, but I'd like to see the owners of those bottles recycled into other living quarters.

Saw former Dr Jason handing out candy and had another short chat.

Is DR Jason still performing or just doing related things?

TOD:

I've never done Facebook, but I imagine my reaction would be much like DR Amy's post.

I meet enough contentious people as it is. Why would I want more of that?

I had to take a drawer out of my chest of drawers and organize it, looking for a luggage lock and key. Bingo!

One more off the list.
