Back from some lunch - the other day I saw someone eating a meat ball sandwich, so I tried it - very good - tiny, but good.  Then I picked up some packages.

Spent time on the phone with DirecTV - my bill will now be twenty-five dollars less per month - we removed all the dopey sports channels and the nice lady gave me a one-year discount, so that's really nice.

Saturday evening greetings!  I was outta here before 9am to be in Cincinnati by 10 for 2 art classes and lunch with the instructor.  In the morning we learned a couple of techniques using a Gelli plate and how to use PanPastels, both of which I bought at lunchtime (my intention all along).  This afternoon was "Color Theory for Rookies" and I learned a lot about acrylic paint, mostly that it gets everywhere.  All this is a run-up to starting an art journaling online course on October 1.

Yes, it does, DR JRand!  And you can only spritz it so many times with water to revive it...

I'm at the tech rehearsal, but other people are not done with things, so I'm just waiting around.

Earlier today, I ushered for the Sweet Adelines Womens Barbershop Chorus show.  They write their own script and the director who is a friend of mine asked if I wanted to be in it.

It probably wouldn't have conflicted with "HEAD!", but she (the director) was able to find someone else, so I wasn't frazzed throughout the month juggling rehearsals.

I wonder if DR vixmom has passed the last Indian River (and the like) Fruits and Souvenirs tourist stop yet.  God help me, I am a sucker for those places.

We actually stopped there today.  Vixdad will never allow a stop there. "We aren't even out of Florida yet!!!"

But since he was not there to object....

One of the windshield wipers is being a little wonky ... Drivers side naturally.  Hopefully a look in the morning will. Show I just picked up some debris or the clip came undone

Saw former Dr Jason handing out candy and had another short chat.

Is DR Jason still performing or just doing related things?

He is working at both Disney and universal; ride attendant at one and merchandising in the other however he just auditioned for an won  a singing spot in the Christmas holiday
Celebrations at Disney so hopefully this is the foot in the door to get back on the performance track

I'm still at our tech rehearsal, and it'll probably go longer than 10:00 pm, left coast time.
