Watching the filmed stage version of Driving Miss Daisy with Angela Lansbury, James Earl Jones and Boyd Gaines. The beginning is fun. Should be a good 90 minutes.

Originally, my niece found out about the 45 that featured Catharine Zeta Jones on the front and found it on eBay. She asked if I would bid on it for her and she'd pay me back. I think the final cost was over $40 (she wanted it and paid for it). She didn't know about the whole recording until I searched eBay and came across it. I got that for myself (and it only cost me about $35). My niece had no interest in Anthony Hopkins or the whole show. Anyway, the recording is okay and didn't really hold my interest. But of course, I would never get rid of it.

Found a movie at the library today called "My Old Lady" with Kevin Kline, Maggie Smith and Kristin Scott Thomas. Has anybody heard of it? With a cast like that, I'm surprised it's a straight to DVD flick.

Well I woke up at 5:30 and got showered and dressed and the Vixter got up at 6 and drip over me to the bus pickup site

The ride in was uneventful except for a bingo game in which I won $2 and a string of red mardigrasx beads

There were a couple of disappointments We were supposed to have at least 90 minutes (which would not have been long enough) and we only had 45 minutes and instead of the promised lunch at reading market we ended up at a second rate overpriced Chinese buffet with lukewarm food. The supposed reason for the change was that this allowed us to walk to see the liberty bell after lunch (which we did get to do) but my suspicions were aroused by the glowing recommendations prior to the lunch "best selection of food in the city!" The fact that the tour guide was joyfully greeted by name by the staff and that she didn't pay for her lunch. I may be uncharitable and jaded but I suspect she collects an envelope each week based in how many tour group she steers there
