DR elmore are you cousin's riding to the airport with you, or have you returned the car and they are taking you?

Speaking of which, I was curious as to why that rental car cost so damned much.

What did he get, a Bentley?

(I could actually sort of see DR Elmore cavorting about Middletown in a Bentley, now that I think about it.)

DR ELMORE I meant to tell you to throw three pennies onto the property to help it sell.....but I was remiss in getting back here.

You can also leave them at your brother's house....that should help, too.   If you have a stream or lake nearby toss them there - or anywhere in the direction of the property.

I've been to my high school alumni luncheon, and it was wonderful! I saw so many friends I hadn't seen in years, and the gossip flew fast and furious.

Nice!

I will meet them for breakfast, then drive to the airport and return the car.

It's the insurance.  I have no car insurance of my own.

I will drive by the property tomorrow on my way to I-75 and throw the three pennies onto the lawn.

Tonight I will finish packing and leave for the airport tomorrow morning, after breakfast with my cousins Jeanne and Sue Ellen. I could use some vibes for both the flight to New York and the flight not being cancelled or rerouted.

Thanks!

Hello, everyone, from this newly bionic DR!

This will have to be quick, as my vision isn't what I'd call stable yet.

The surgery itself was completely painless--and recovery from the anesthesia was almost non-existent. I was very impressed.

I saw the surgeon yesterday for my first post-op. There's a small problem, but nothing too unusual and he told me what to do about it. I think it's all part of the healing. I do feel the need to rest and heal, especially so since I had that intestinal bug just before the surgery.

My surgery was a little different from most. I had the Toric lens implanted to correct the astigmatism and also correct the refraction. My right eye went from a minus 8 (VERY near-sghted) to a minus 2 (slightly near-sighted). A BIG change. My left eye, of course, is still a minus 8. I can see pretty well with the right alone, but I think my vision will be a bit wonky until the left eye is done. I told the surgeon yesterday that I didn't think my eyes were working as a team yet and he said that was a good description. It may be a while before I can drive.

Yesterday we saw Fun Home. Wouldn't you know, the little girl who sang on the Tony show, Sydney Lucas, is no longer with the show.  The word on the street is that she asked for an increase in salary.
