John G., I have the Show Boat you are talking about.

I had a hard time understanding Captain Andy. And the ending was interesting.

Loved the ending. Magnolia as an independent woman. She doesn't need Gay, though he still loves her.

Don't know what the HELL is going on - either Time Warner is hiccuping over and over and over again, or something is wrong with various websites, like, for example Google.

Apparently Google has been having ups and downs since the middle of the night last night - it won't load, then it loads.  Don't get it.

And it certainly doesn't explain Facebook, unless it's Time Warner problems, but here I am posting, so..

I can get to about half the sites I'm trying to access, like this one, and the other half will not connect - whatever IS the problem.

Facebook is still a no-go.  So irritating to have half the sites not come up.

The Time Warner home page won't even load.  Something is screwy somewhere.

Well, I'm not the only one - Time Warner says no outages, but on Down Detector people have been complaining all day long right into the evening just a few minutes ago.  And apparently it's only affecting sites like Google and Facebook and a few others, which I guess is why I can post here.  The weird thing is I couldn't even get back here from the iMac, but get here fine on the laptop.  I may write notes now and schedule them so I don't have to worry.  On top of that it's about 95 degrees outside.

The fact that there's a forty-minute hold time to talk to a Time Warner tech tells me all I need to know - they're being inundated with calls.  They are so damn inept it's not even funny.
