The forecast for Thanksgiving day is not good.   Mixed rain sleet and snow.   So, I'm going to go get a turkey and have it cut in half lengthwise.  I won't go if the weather is bad and I can roast the turkey and make thanksgiving here.   I would be fine with that.

Oh and I'll freeze the other half of the turkey so I can eat it sometime in the middle of the winter when comfort food sounds really good

I've been thinking about making home made egg noodles.  I've never done it, but it can't be that hard, right?

Finally getting around to watching Billy Elliott. It's really quite good.

Did anybody watch it on PBS? Did they cut out all of the cursing?

It's rather funny because the DVD from the library is from France and the rating on the back is G and it says it's OK for small kids. Small kids who drop f-bombs, I guess. Which is, admittedly, most kids I've been around these days.

I bought the Blu-ray from England last year.  How did your library get a DVD from France?  Wouldn't that make it a region 2 DVD?

I could freeze them too.   I've been in a real freezing stuff mood.  I made chili and froze half, made chicken and noodles and froze half.   I'll be good to go on lunches and easy dinners on night I don't want to cook

I also still have some apples from the orchard.  I like apple better, but cherry would be fine too

Dunno. It's a blu and ray.

And I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had seen a bootleg of the Broadway with Emily Skinner, who was wonderful, but this was much better.

You could make one of each.  I prefer cherry.

I am trying not to giggle out loud.  I've rolled, with great difficulty, onto my left side and now I feel as if I might slide backwards out of the bed.
