Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Mr. Sandman, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - Mr. Sandman is currently bringing them a dream filled with peaches but no cream because the cows find the cream part patently offensive.

The conglomerate that bought the A&P supermarkets then the Pathmark Supermarkets and the Waldbaum's supermarket chains ( the latter two having a large presence here on the island of long) declared bankruptcy a while back.  All the path marks and Waldbaums store have been closing and the Ones right here in my neighborhood both closed this week

So yesterday when I went out to do the Thanksgiving shopping ( I waited until around 5 thinking the crowds would be less) my local choices were limited to Bj's and Stop And Shop.  Both of which were jam packed

They also back up to the Tanger Oulet mall which I learned had had their tree lighting ceremony preceded by a visit from Santa and two of the Radio Ciity Music Hall Rockettes and then a concert by some guy name Jacob white sides  (never heard of him) so the entire area was mobbed

Isn't cooking Thanksgiving a challenge for you, DR vixmom, given the long lists of foods that the rest of the vixfamily will not eat?

DR TCB - to answer your question from last night...

I can't really decide. I mean, I love the tension and excitement of performing. But there's something wonderful about not having any pressure and just taking it in, too.

Good morning, all!  This morning, i wanted to sleep late but could not.  The chord progression E-flat, D major, D seven, G minor would not stop bothering me.  It began in a dream, something involving my brother randy who was about 10 in itm a guitar,  my dead Aunt Lois, and God knows who else.  After I got out of bed to check the time and went back to bed, the chord progression kept rolling on like Ol' Man River.

U'm beginning to worry about that blasted car rental reimbursement; if it were indeed posted on Tuesday, I should hasve received it,  if it does not show up tomorrow, I'll raise hell on Tuesday.

I also need to get on someone's case about payment for that act last week..

As we get closer to the end of the year (5 weeks to go) I am looking back and saying not a good one.

I finally had my knee replacement. Good but I do not have full mobility in it and I still need to wear a knee brace. Because of pain I have problems with my right leg swells up.

While in the hospital I had an adverse reaction to one of the medicines I was taken and it was attacking my pancreas.

I continued to have stomach discomfort after leaving the hospital. So I saw the GI who saw me in the hospital. After taking medications to see if it could help the stomach discomfort he did an endoscopy,

Well I have Barret's esophagus and Celiac Disease and which made me gluten intolerant.

However stomach pain continued and I was sent to another specialist. He looked at my blood work and MIRs and send he wanted to do an endoscopy and ultrasound of the pancreas.

That was done on Thursday. The preliminary results is chronic Pancreatitis and biopsies were taken as well. I find out the results in two weeks.

I am finally glad to know what I have after the stomach problems began five years ago after getting food poisoning and doing ever kind of test under the sun which all turned out negative but early results thought that I had everything from Chrones to Cancer.

It's something that I manage from day to day as it will never go away. Some are better than others.

The past few days not so good.

I am posting this as people have ask in the past how things are going and I have been bad about reading later postings daily. By the time I come home from work (full work days now) I am tired with very low energy and don't go on line a lot.

I've been on HHW a long time and I owe it to all you wonderful people here to let you know what is happening.

Thank you all and god bless everyone.
