Freewebs has NEVER responded to any of my emails concerning their freezing my website - The Real Allison Hayes.

The information there has been the go to site for every article I have read about her since it was first posted more than 10 years ago.  I updated it regularly and added photos and articles that I would find here and there.  It was linked on her IMDB page. I took the link down since it couldn't be accessed.

I wanted Freewebs to let me access it so i could take it and move it to another service.  They will NOT respond to my emails or even tell me WHY it was frozen.  The general page that comes up says "Terms of Service", but I'm not sure what would be in violation, unless one of the photographs was flagged by someone.

SO -  I guess I will start re-writing the entire thing.

Sunday morning greetings!  Today is not a Lima Sunday for Fr. Richard, so we're staying home all together to let him fully recover from his cold.

I am hungry, but I don't want to eat as I am going out for sushi for lunch. I love sushi!  Well actually I don't like the raw fish sushi, but I love everything else that you can have at a sushi restaurant.  I really enjoy this place because you order all you can eat for the whole table and then you can try many different things. And you can keep ordering until everyone is full.  My stomach gets upset very easily but so far that has never happened while eating sushi.

The conglomerate that bought the A&P supermarkets then the Pathmark Supermarkets and the Waldbaum's supermarket chains ( the latter two having a large presence here on the island of long) declared bankruptcy a while back.  All the path marks and Waldbaums store have been closing and the Ones right here in my neighborhood both closed this week

Sorry you are losing your markets.  My first Pathmark store amazed me.  I learned shopping there required extra time, like maybe an extra hour.

Back from Maryland and D.C. after the baby naming for my cousin.  Such a beautiful ceremony.

I have never been to a baby naming ceremony.  For the first time I was invited to one in Los Angeles, to the great grandson of my aunt I just loss.  I did not go.  I wish I had because then I would have seen my aunt one more time.

We lost the town's two Waldbaums some years ago.  Then a brand new A&P opened, and it was a nice store.  Now that's dead and Shop Rite is taking it over, as they have a number of other A&P stores elsewhere.

As we get closer to the end of the year (5 weeks to go) I am looking back and saying not a good one.

I finally had my knee replacement. Good but I do not have full mobility in it and I still need to wear a knee brace. Because of pain I have problems with my right leg swells up.

While in the hospital I had an adverse reaction to one of the medicines I was taken and it was attacking my pancreas.

I continued to have stomach discomfort after leaving the hospital. So I saw the GI who saw me in the hospital. After taking medications to see if it could help the stomach discomfort he did an endoscopy,

Well I have Barret's esophagus and Celiac Disease and which made me gluten intolerant.

However stomach pain continued and I was sent to another specialist. He looked at my blood work and MIRs and send he wanted to do an endoscopy and ultrasound of the pancreas.

That was done on Thursday. The preliminary results is chronic Pancreatitis and biopsies were taken as well. I find out the results in two weeks.

I am finally glad to know what I have after the stomach problems began five years ago after getting food poisoning and doing ever kind of test under the sun which all turned out negative but early results thought that I had everything from Chrones to Cancer.

It's something that I manage from day to day as it will never go away. Some are better than others.

The past few days not so good.

I am posting this as people have ask in the past how things are going and I have been bad about reading later postings daily. By the time I come home from work (full work days now) I am tired with very low energy and don't go on line a lot.

I've been on HHW a long time and I owe it to all you wonderful people here to let you know what is happening.

Thank you all and god bless everyone.

That's terrible!  You would think that they would at least communicate with you about any issues and let you know what's going on.

Well, I must be going.  Today, I'm working concessions downtown and for whatever reason, I signed up for both shifts, so I'm scheduled to be there from 12:15 to about 7:45!

There is a break in between the two shows and I can leave during the show, if I need to, but I'll bring my Kindle and my tablet, so I might be able to get on-line every once in a while.

Have made the decision not to go to my parents for Thanksgiving.  The forecast is really iffy.  Maybe hard rain, maybe ice, maybe snow.  Instead of stressing I bought my own little turkey and all the sides I love and am going to make my own feast. I'll get to have left overs for the first time in years.   I told my mom and she said "I don't blame you, after all we just saw you at the wedding".  So nice not to have to stress about it. AND I'm totally in the mood to cook a feast.   Callie hasn't stopped purring

Ok, I know it's totally unrelated, but I came in the house and told her I won't be leaving for Thanksgiving and she has literally been purring ever since

Time to get ready to head to the Ice cream capitol of the world to practice flute choir.   I'm afraid I haven't had enough time to practice lately.  Glad I won't be traveling so I can practice over the holiday.  Cooking, playing my flutes, hanging out with the cats.....sounds like a wonderful holiday to me

Jrand, first of all, find a phone number and call Freewebs and get someone to explain to you the problem.  Once they do, then you'll at least know that.  At that point, you can tell them you want complete access, even if it's privately, to remove your content.  If they deny that, threaten them with legal action.  If someone has made a complaint about copyright infringement, they cannot make that determination - they can take the site off-line, but cannot deny you your material.

In the meantime, before you do ANYTHING, go to Google and search "cached web pages" - there are a bunch of places that have them - Google, Archived Web Pages and three or four others - that's how we were able to recover all but one of the notes that were missing.  If you find your archived pages you can cut and paste the content.
