All your favorite Christmas songs -- sung by goats.

Yes, TCB, if this doesn't scare you into the Christmas spirit, nothing will.

The second video is especially disturbing.

TOD from yesterday:

I feel like this question should have been easy, but I couldn't really come up with anything except "Ladies Who Lunch".
I suppose "I'm just a Girl Who Can't Say No" would be wildly inappropriate, as well as Bruce's "Who Do I Have to Blank to Get Out of This Show".
What about "I Enjoy Being a Girl"?

Afternoon, all!

Happiest of birthdays to Ginny!

The word of the day actually features strongly in the opening story of Mike Carey's "Lucifer" graphic novel series, highly recommended by the likes of me. Please do not even THINK of associating it with the upcoming Fox TV "adaptation."

TOD:
Ye olde iPod needs charging, but there's about 10 hours' worth of lectures on Jewish legal philosophy that I'm looking forward to (no, really!) when I get around to it
Pandora: my "kitchen sink" station, which just played Dar Williams, Allan Sherman, Darby O'Gill, Bruce Springsteen, and the Doors in the last hour.
Reading: "War and Peace"

Wait, it is ok.  We are going to a warmer climate for Christmas.  I hope it doesn't rain there.

It has been super mild so far this winter. I am wearing shoes, which I would normally never do at this time of the year. It has only snowed once. And only like 1cm so it was gone the next day.  I am super happy about this.

At 11:00 I may have an orchestration conversation with a composer.

And here it is, DR Elmore.  Your assignment...

Hello!   We've been getting rain off and on in the bay area.  The big storm that was suppose to come has either came in the middle of the night, or is slowly moving north and we are not getting any of it.  I'd be happy for a big snow pack in the mountains, though.  That will definitely help the drought

I'm really enjoying it. It's very dark, but her plotting is tighter and I've grown to care for the main characters.

Speaking of unfortunate, Josh Groban just tortured to death "Over the Rainbow" on THE TALK.

Had a rough night - didn't fall asleep until two due to a slightly upset tummy, woke up at four with the same slight upset tummy (methinks some butter I put on a matzoh last night was the culprit - perhaps just a teeny bit too old - who knows), slept fitfully till eight, then finally fell back asleep and was out till noon.  I feel a bit better now and may just have some white rice for the time being.  Thankfully I bought some at Gelson's yesterday.

Forgot to mention the huge rainstorm from yesterday - lasted ninety seconds.  We're having another now - it was coming down pretty good for about six minutes and seems to have abated already, but I'm hoping it keeps up for the entire weekend.
