We should have the HHW Awards.  We have as many members as the Hollywood Foreign Press.

In from a nice Vietnamese dinner that was more American than Vietnamese: Cajun fried rice. Oh well, I cleaned my plate.

Actually, I think that is a good idea!  We could have a special night with ham chunks and cheese slices, and we could all dance the Hora; and then give out the awards.

I hate the drive to Seattle, especially in the rain.

Vibes the weather is good!  If that is asking too much, vibes your drive is ok and the rain not too hard.

I thought about you, DR TCB, when I heard about the highway covered by the mudslide from all the rain in your region.

And there is no truth to the rumor that George and I staged the landslide to keep Jane from heading north.

Thank you for the vibes.  At least I don't have to drive it at night.

Cajun fried rice sounds a little spicy.

Sadly it wasn't. It came with a nice cup of broth flavored with five spice (cinnamon, clove, anise and the like). I had to add plenty of chile oil to spice it up.

It still might have been too spicy for me.

Maybe DR Ron has been busy getting ready for his annual trip home.

The boat parade went by again tonight.  There was a paddlewheeler with the wheeler part lit up and rolling through the water.

DR GEORGE - Josh Groban just sounds too precious by half on his Broadway CD....almost like a parody of himself and Mandy.....if that is possible....

Ahh...thanks for the info.

Tonight's reading of Edgar Allan Poe went well.  I got through my one piece (and the first of the evening) and had to sit there and try to keep my eyes open. ::)

Just sitting there with nothing to do, in front of everyone, is not the easiest thing to do.

But we only have one more performance tomorrow (my dad is coming to see it!), then it's over.

We only had about a dozen paying patrons.  It may not seem like much (especially since it's only $10 a person) but it's certainly worth it for us to continue the event.

There is absolutely no cost...just the cost of electricity and price of printing posters. :)
