I hope to see him in January of a workshop of a new musical based on "The Return of the Native."Another one? Wasn''t Dance on a Country Grave based on Return of the Native? Hated that book in high school. Eustacia Vye was one of the most irritating of heroines. I believe you may be right, but consider the plethora of Pride and Prejudice musicals at the moment. After BK's sad history with To Kill A Mockingbird, a public domain property is easier for rights, and perhaps this will turn out well. I never considered Miss Vye a heroine, but I haven't read the novel, which I really liked, in over forty years. The Hardy novel I really cannot get into is Tess of the D'Ubervilles.

My brother said they don't want to exchange presents with me. So I spent the money I would have spent on their gift on myself.
