I met my friend, Sharry, for lunch today. By the time we finished, my left knee (the bad leg) was hurting so bad, I couldn't stand it.

I had a lot of errands I needed to run today, but instead, I went home, took a pain pill, and slept for two and a half hours. My knee is still causing a great deal of pain.

I should be happy that the management switched out the old refrigerator after I spent a week complaining that everything in the freezer was getting a funny taste, I couldn't get it clean enough, so they brought in a new fridge. It's not as tall and the square footage inside is smaller but I'm not sure by how much. At least it is energy efficient, the old one was around 25+ years old. The new one has a black textured surface, so it looks like the 2001 monolith's kid is in my kitchen.

I am due to have my next PET scan in March, but I may have to look for work prior to that. That will mess up my other disability and my health insurance. The whole mishegas has been weighing on my mind.

On the one hand, I am grateful that I am healthy (pretty much). I know that there are patients who have been down my path and still need to swallow 40 or more pills each and every day. The only things I take are OTC vitamins and allergy remedies. Thank God, I hate taking pills.

Part was through the State, and they've tightened their belt since the new guy was elected. Our governor is the ice cream guy, Cold Stone, but I'm not so sure about him.

The company that oversees that, Sedgwick, has been looking for anything to lower or drop me since almost the day before I was discharged during the heaviest part of my treatments. People have warned me about Sedgwick, plus the woman assigned to me is named Diane. In my entire life, the name Diane has been a bad omen, or something. I have never known a Diane that I befriended or who liked me, or had good news. I've had friends who've had other similar experiences, but with different names.
