Me, I've been indulging in a lazy all-afternoon-and-evening reading session on the Music Room couch. Just various and sundry things, catching up on this and that. Not even watching anything, except that few minutes of TV. Not even listening to anything. And it feels wonderful. I needed a day like this. Back to normal, more or less, tomorrow.

Just listening to music - pointless to try and watch anything else as I'll just doze off. I had about five ounces of spaghetti with the sauce left over from the partay and a little bit of kugel from last night's party.

I have a friend who lives a couple miles from where the tornado hit in Garland Texas tonight. I've been following that on his facebook page and on the weather channel.

I also made Scalloped potatoes and ham from scratch. The box mixes are too salty for me. Since I had the oven hot, I made some brownies

I've really enjoyed cooking and baking lately. I left the divinity and cookies and chocolate covered pretzels with my parents. I also bought them some peanut brittle and gave them some pecan clusters. They love sweets.

We are going to have a big snow storm on Monday and Tuesday. Well 6-10 inches. On top of the 2+ inches we got last night. It's also going to be below zero windchills. Winter is here

When they name a storm Goliath, of course it's going to be big. They should name the storms little names. Or names like Elmer. Nothing against the name, but it doesn't sound very dangerous

I stopped at the office today to check the mail and the document I've been waiting for was there. I may go to the office tomorrow and get that project ready to mail. Or I may not. It doesn't HAVE to be in before the end of the year.

I have lots of things to do around the house. A snow storm will give me a reason do stay home and do some of the projects I've been meaning to do. Looking forward to it

It will also give me a reason not to go back to see mom and dad this week. I talked about going back to help with some things, but a snow storm will mean I won't. It's a good thing actually. I thought I was prepared for what I was going to find, but was still a bit shocked. I've talked to mom and dad a lot since I got home and they seem to be ok. I may have over reacted a bit
