Happy New Year everyone!!! My NYE thing was small (3 people and me) but we had a sparkling good time. One of the guests brought a DVD of a show we did back in 1995 - that was an awesome walk down memory lane. There is a ton of food left over, I won't need to shop for a while.

The birthday party/reading of "Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope" last night was a lot of fun! Finger food and beverages were provided and chatting commenced as soon as people started arriving. All the parts were divvied up and I read the "Chorus," a sort of narrator of the show. It took most of the evening, but we did have about a half hour intermission...additional visiting, of course.

I forget exactly when we started, but we finished about 9 minutes before midnight. We counted down the last 10 seconds and hugged and celebrated at midnight. After it was all cleaned up and we were all leaving, I had to warm up my car and scrape all my windows. I drove a friend home (Thomas, who read the role of Luke), then I came home, brushed my teeth, checked my e-mail, and now am in bed watching "Antiques Roadshow."

Today, my friend Margo are going to see the IMAX 3D version of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." I don't know what time we're going to see the movie. After the movie, I'm going to my sister's to visit with the family, including our parents.

Actually, after all the build-up about Don Lemon having brought his bathing suit for the hot tub thing, he ended up just soaking his ankles in the hot tub. But then one of the local men kind of went under water and nearly almost did an in-hot-tub lap dance at him which was stopped before it got too graphic for CNN.
