Futzed and finessed quite a bit, and wrote a half a page of new stuff, but the piano tuner is here now so I can't write while he's doing that.  And then I have to go deal with the pension stuff and the El Portal, eat, and then I'll continue on the new pages.  I may decide to wait till the morning to do the pension stuff, since it's in Burbank.

Music just arrived.  Thank you, BK!

It looks great, and I love that it's spiral-bound.

We got the OK from Jerry Herman to include the title number from "Jerry's Girls" in our production of Jerry's Girls.   Why the heck is it not included in the show to begin with is beyond me.

That's the weirdest thing that I've ever heard!

Back from the El Portal, picking up a package, and then a patty melt with fries.  I've written about six pages so far, so I'll take a break now and resume in an hour or so - I'll definitely do four or five more pages and finish the chapter I'm on, then write the beginning of the next chapter.

Mother's Cookies went out of business several years ago.  I thought I'd never have their Iced Circus Animal Cookies again.  Luckily, they were bought out, and the bakeries restarted.  Iced Circus Animals were back. However, one of the casualties of the that was other's Iced Raisin Cookies which I dearly loved.

I love these iced circus animal cookies!  They're definitely on my list.  Other favorite store-bought cookies are pretty much specifically Oreos (just about any version, except peanut butter...those weren't as good as the others. :P ).  It's not that I don't like other store-bought cookies, but Oreos are probably the ones that I would buy before any others.

Rob and I spent a little time with Mom today, helping her open the presents in her Christmas stocking.  She'll enjoy all the various foodstuffs, including 2 kinds of cookies - shortbread rings from Graeter's and Lorna Doones.

DR JRand, I suspect you've heard about this awful tragedy that happened not far from you:

4 Brownsburg Teens...

It weighed heavily on my mind this weekend, because the young man who was driving is a distant cousin on my mother's side.  It breaks my heart to hear his mother Jennifer apologizing to the crowd at last night's candlelight vigil.

Well, I need to leave work and go shopping.  I need a new keyboard for my computer.  I have a ergonomic split keyboard, but I don't know if I need another one.  We'll see what I can find.

Until later.

I have a recipe for Almond Crescents, but usually I make Pecan Snowballs which are similar.
