And what will happen to bk's neighborhood when there is no longer a market for all of these McMansions?

We took one last walk along the falls.  I feel very lucky to have seen them.

Thanks John.  Not too difficult as it is hot and humid and difficult to find good vegetarian food.  We miss home, just not the cold temps.

We  are in a Mercury retrograde until January 25, so there will be problems with electronics and motor cars, and delays in communication.....

I have already had both!

Wednesday morning greetings!  I quite enjoyed my day out and about yesterday.  Today I have to begin getting myself ready for Friday's trip to Boston for ALA Midwinter.

Thanks John.  Not too difficult as it is hot and humid and difficult to find good vegetarian food.  We miss home, just not the cold temps.

I remember going to a vegetarian restaurant in Rio. Only half of the options had bacon in them.

I guess I didn't shut the door all the way last night. My DH found the door ajar and Rex was missing. Luckily we found him after a couple hours of searching in the dark. He had heard us calling and ignored us, as cats do. He came out from wherever he was and sat on the block wall when he was ready to come back inside.

Good day, everyone!

Peter Boulez and Liz Swados passed away at the same time? Heaven's music scene just got really avant-garde in a hurry...

Sad news. Just came across one of Swados's books on music last night. I might have to watch my DVD of Meryl Streep in Alice at the Palace.

I have not yet watched Making a Murderer, as some of you have. But the person in question will not be pardoned, at least while Scott Walker remains governor of Wisconsin:
