JRand, I had a hard time following the split story lines. And the sound system is pretty bad.

I did get to see how the sign language interpreters signed the F word. They used it quite a bit.

I'm off to New Jersey to see some friends in a play.

Are you then going to Tacoma to see a friend in a play.  Or two plays with two friends.

I'm really looking forward to the play this afternoon, but I was warned that it's one act, no intermission.

Dale Wasserman, when asked why MAN OF LA MANCHA was written without an intermission said, that he was afraid that if he wrote in an intermission that it would give the audience a chance to leave and not come back.

DR TCB, my condolences on the loss of your dear friend Patsy.

Thank you, Jane.  She was a great lady (or maybe a great broad).  Her Boston accent got thicker every year.  She loved her vodker martinis on the rocks (no vermouth).  Still smoked, and had a laugh that could stop traffic.  She also had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I had ever met.  She owned the travel agency where I worked, and she sent me around the world.  Okay, maybe from Hawaii to Europe and places in between.  I will miss her always.

Condolences to TCB.  I understand when people say no service, but sometimes I think it's harder for those left behind to not have a chance to say goodbye and celebrate the life of a family member or friend

Thanks, Cilla.  I feel out of sorts not having a way to say goodbye.

Back from the dance. I got to DJ again, which is fun. Late in the evening, I found David Bowie's Golden Days on the playlist, so I was able to do a tribute to him.

Just watching a supposedly "lost" episode of Carol Burnett's old variety show.

The guests were Lucille Ball, Eddie Albert and Nancy Wilson, who sang a gorgeous version of "The Folks Who Live on the Hill."

One of the other episodes features Chita Rivera and Bob Newhart, which should be fun.

Cillai really envy your opportunity to meet the candidates "up close and personal" as they say

Although they drive me crazy, I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to see them when they our stumping. They are  going from small town to small town, talking to people in diners and pizza places and ice cream parlors, with a big venue thrown in here and there like a high school gymnasium or a theater. On days like tomorrow, it means going in and out of below zero weather and driving hours between stops. Then being asked questions in venues where it's so small it's hard to dodge a question. They have to work for our votes and if a candidate skips a part of the state, it's noticed and they won't win the votes there.  Unfortunately, in most years it's just the hard cores who actually caucus.  It sounds like Trump and Bernie will bring out a lot of first timers this year.  That's how Obama won.

Thanks, Cilla.  I feel out of sorts not having a way to say goodbye.

Then do your own little good bye service alone or get some friends together to tell Patsy stories and remember her life and the good times you had together.  Maybe that would help
