I think it's great that our DR ciillaliz is seeing every candidate and taking advantage of the ability to do so.

Thanks Elmore.  I have to tell you, you really learn a lot about them seeing them in person as they appeal to their core voters.  Sometimes I hear positions on issues I either really agree with or disagree with that I wasn't even aware that person had.   I think I'm going to skip Ben Carson prayer service tomorrow.  I'm not going to caucus for him and I have a headache.

I was looking forward to your comments on him, however, I too would skip the prayer service.

I am also enjoying reading DR CILLA LIZ's posts about the political goings on in Iowa.....it's better than what we get on the news!

The news doesn't have a clue.  I can't remember the last time I talked to someone who actually answered a poll.  It's going to be interesting. Unless something crazy happens in the next week, I think I know who is going to win on both sides, but we'll see.

Interesting.  I suppose you are going to wait until it is over to say if you were right or wrong.

Ben Carson's thing tomorrow was going to be a revival/prayer meeting to pray for saving the earth or something like that  with Kirk Cameron and some Christian rock group.  Now it's being billed as a prayer service for his staffer who died in a car accident on Tuesday.  Carson is very religious.  The interesting thing is there are a number of candidates who may split the so called evangelical vote. The biggest split will likely be between Cruz and Carson.  That will help the Donald, who I still think will win

First thought: Does Ben Carson have a prayer?

Eating for four now?

Why give up a tradition ?

Which hotel or motel are you at?  Does the Holiday Inn there still have the Denny's?  That's where I've liked staying a few times.

We like the country inn and suites it's right off exit 20.  I joined their "club" and with advanced on line pricing we get a small suited for less than the price of a regular room. We are lounging in our sitting  room watching tv

LOL, that's all he has. He does have a lot of sympathy right now.  The car accident was very sad. I'm guessing they had someone driving who didn't know how to drive on snow and ice

He talks about God and religion more than anyone. He seems like a very nice and intelligent man, but I don't see him as president.

Yeah, I wasn't going to do that, but Ive talked to so many people who like Christie or Kasich or Fiorina or even Rubio but instead of giving them a little support to go on, they are voting for Trump because they do not want Cruz. They all have other reasons to vote for Trump, but the conversations always starts "Well I really like _____ the best, but..."

I wish Kasich had campaigned here.  He basically gave a pass on Iowa, so I don't really know anything about him

I fon't think he has a brain, considering that he's a surgeon with little scientific knowledge.

I heard from my friend with cancer who had a session in Philadelphia this week to see how things were progressing. He reported:
I didn't get horribly sick for the first time, so we were able to get out of Dodge quickly and well ahead of the storm.  Unfortunately, I have to go back in a month because there were some minor complications (non-threatening, just annoying) that prevented them from doing the whole treatment. But the good news is that they said they could see visible shrinking of the tumors that they treated last month.

Please keep those vibes coming!

I am now on Season 4 of Pie in the Sky. Much as I like it, I think this season's showing signs of running out of steam. God knows how bad the final season will be, but I'll find out in about three more days when I finish Season 4.

I think then I will finish up Season 15 of Midsomer Murders before tackling Broadchurch 2.
