Weather channel just said 300 cars stranded on interstate 75 in Kentucky. DR John G glad your folks are at home.

Tonight, somehow I didn't get the door into the garage completely shut and Ricky got out. The outside garage door was shut, so he was in the garage.  I didn't know he was there and closed the mud room door.  It was quite a while later I heard him scratching to get in.   It was a BIG adventure for him.  I have no idea what he got into.  He thought he was in trouble, but he isn't.  I never leave that door open, sheesh!  He's sleeping on the chair now.  I'm sure he'll be bragging about his adventure to his sisters

I'm sure you would not have gone to bed without him, glad he is ok.

Oh it wouldn't have taken me that long to miss him.  He sits in the chair with me at night.  I actually think Boo was trying to tell me he couldn't get in from the mud room. I thought she was hungry.  When I gave her food she must have forgotten all about Ricky

It is easy to forget when food is involved :)

I haven't done this in a long time, but tonight I just settled myself down in front of the TV and, in between catching weather updates, I've been watching those Diners, Dives, Burgers, 'Que, etc., food programs.

But just before doing that, I'd had this HUGE piece of brandy-soaked fruitcake...so it's not that I'm hungry now.  I'm really not.  But the kind of foodstuffs I've been seeing and hearing about, including vixmom's scrumptious sounding repast, can still get the juices flowing.

Now I want a piece of your fruitcake.

Ditto!!

Oh, my goodness! :o I can't imagine being stuck like that, let alone living in an area that gets that much snow.

We are kind of the dark horse candidate of the local theater scene.

I am somewhat amused at the Broadway-con thing.  As TCB may or may not remember (although I have all the e-mails), our much missed den mother, he, and I were trying to do that very thing about fourteen years ago.

Yes, I remember very well.  I think if she hadn't been forced to leave here, we might have succeeded.

At the opening night reception, the audience members kept saying that once word gets out about this play, we are going to be SRO.

But after Tuesday's run-through, we were all looking at each other wondering if everyone else was getting the same vibe.
