Was it as good as last night? No, but it was a solid show.

Yesterday we had close to three hundred postings!  Just noticed that.

I think 280 of them were from me blabbing about my show.

It doesn't matter how many times you tell actors that audiences are different every night, the minute one joke fails to get the same response as opening night; they panic.

Suddenly every gesture is twice as big as last night, every punch line is literally punched.

Does that make it better?  Of course not, it only makes things worse.

Characters were called the wrong name, lines were reversed, and some speeches were missing entirely.

The stage manager will give a speech tomorrow about not making changes in your lines or your character and hopefully we will get back to normal.

Well, I need to leave now to get ready for tonight's ushering.  Hopefully, my clothes will be dry enough by the time I'm done with my shower and have to leave. :-\

Have a good rest of the day, everyone!

My clothes were dry enough and I'm now home.

She sounded well enough to tell her stories and sing her songs.

She probably only sang maybe six or seven songs, but with her stories, I think she was on stage for close to an hour.

Both if them were engaging and friendly and signed autographs after the show.

Larry bid on one of the silent auction items (a framed poster from the movie "Gilda" with Rita Hayworth) and won it!

I didn't see how much his bid was, but his was the only bid so it wasn't very much.

I'm pretty sure that everything that they had throughout the lobby for the silent auction sold.
