Here is a photo of me taken from the one-man show, WRECKS.

That's a great picture, Tom. :)

Hep Peppiness sounds like a home remedy my grandma used to make.

Vixdad found a local ELCA church right down the road and we will be going there shortly

What a nice idea. Hope this helps a bit.

It was actually a very easy trek to City Center.  The weather was quite cold, but my building's super and his snow blower had the sidewalk in excellent shape. The 104 bus ride went well, and it took me - with the little traffic as such - around 15 minutes to get there. I was willing to stay once I finished my proofreading but Joshie said he was in great shape and to get out. So I did.

The bus ride home wasn't bad, but the weather has warmed up and slush is deep and slippery. Still, I'm home in once piece and pondering dinner.

I'm glad you were able to make the trek without problems and are home safely.

There's this PBS cooking show new to me, "The Jazzy Vegetarian": I want her dead. The recipes seem good but her cutesy-poo aren't-I-hep peppiness makes me want to drown her in her hummus.

 ;D

If she likes hummus as much as I do it could make for a delicious exit.

Just when I thought I had the sleep problem solved I learn that it's not quite so easy. I AM sleeping better than I used to and for that I'm grateful. I'm just not sleeping as much--or as well--as I need to.

Here is the band (jazz quartet and gospel singer) for last night's performance. This is from a rehearsal; they were not dressed this way for the show.

The hall seats 2,000 - and there were less than 70 seats unsold!

This is also from a rehearsal. That is me, centered between the conductor's hands. Looking DOWN at my music. I guess I didn't memorize that part.       :P

All in all, it went extremely well and was a very exciting evening. I hadn't been involved in a project quite like that before. It was very satisfying.

I know the feeling, especially after a couple of bad nights this last week.
