My last post was in regard to the basketball coach.

I have taken the liberty of writing up an updated security policy.

The folks around the church shouldn't have to listen to that jarring alarm going off like this. The first two were two outside groups that have access to the building. This third one was legit.

Yes the Mercury retrograde has at last ended, so communication should be easier

When did it take effect?  I had communications problems on a couple of emails yesterday afternoon, with someone who absolutely should have known how to "read" me and my sense of humor.  All is fine, and I take the blame for it, regardless.  But it was just weird.

Tuesday morning greetings!  It's kind of dreary here in SW Ohio today, but warm enough for the snow to melt.  I have some puttering to do and then I must go to the grocery.

This morning's alarm was legitimate. I'm only upset that I had to get out of my warm bed and go out into that frigid 46 degree weather.

In January, we call that a heat wave  8)

It's supposed to get in the 80s here this weekend. Somehow I doubt it.

TOD:  Does "Imitation of Life" count as a soapy melodrama?

I'm pretty sure it would be considered one of the leading ones.

Absolutely ;D

Local newspapers have assured us that the suicide of the head of a local prep school is unrelated to an investigation by police of the school's former basketball coach into child porn charges.

Really!

DR Laura I see you didn't fall back to sleep either.  At least you had a good reason for waking up.

Did the police charge the church for the two false alarms?  They usually do.

Bonus announced, and it is indeed more than generous. Not quite as good as last year but still incredible.

Time for a mental break, I guess. I thought the dryer was broken because it wouldn't start. Nothing worked.

Then I realized that it helps to close the door first.

As I mentioned yesterday, I was rebooked on the noon flight from LaGuardia to National. I got a call last night at 11 pm informing me that that flight was cancelled and that I was now on the 4 pm flight.  I decided to take the train instead and should be in DC by 1:30

The Internet is very spotty on the train. I'd been trying to post for a couple of hours.

There aren't too many choices for shows on Mondays, of course, so last night I went to see "Ruthless," sort if a cross between "The Bad Seed" and "All About "Eve."   It was fun, but nothing spectacular.  The cast was very good.

I'm up, I'm up - maybe six hours of sleep with some very disturbing dreams, all of which were easy to read.

Remember how I said with this book I wasn't that worried about prying eyes ripping it off.  Well, that lasted three days.  The title has now been ripped off (albeit with a different name) by someone I know for a new series of cabaret shows that are directly "inspired" by the Kritzerland shows.  I'm not sure how to handle this, frankly.

That sounds like a better option.  Have a good ride.

No. I responded to the others by myself. The police weren't dispatched.
