Hello Everyone.....I just posted the latest edition of The Broadway Radio Show and it's a great conversation with Emma Hunton (Elphaba in the National Tour of Wicked) and Corbin Bleu (High School Musical, In The Heights, and Dancing With The Stars) about a new play called "The Dodgers" by Diana Amsterdam having it's World Premiere here in Hollywood this weekend.  No, it is not about the baseball team, instead it concerns a group of young men in 1969 facing the draft to go to Vietnam.  It's a fascinating subject and it was a blast chatting with Emma and Corbin.....give it a listen and if you're in the LA area, I encourage you to see the show at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre.

DR Vixmom, thank you for checking last night.  My thought and prayers are with you as you begin your journey home...

I am home from HMO lab and City Center.  Midtown traffic is a god-awful mess today. I think it's time for a nap.

I am sure the students were happy to have him back in the classroom.

As was his family...

It sounds interesting.

Agreed DR JANE......but watching plays and movies set around that time disturbs me so much, I usually have to skip them....

I'm up, I'm up.  Certainly I got eight hours of sleep and probably a bit more.  Muse Margaret called and still isn't thrilled with the title font and one other tiny thing that should be easy to adjust.

It seems I just removed my photo while trying to update it.  Now I should really be gone.

It's a coolish gray day in Oakland CA.  We had a smattering of rain in the early hours.  It looks like a heavy downpour is imminent, but local meteorologists say not.

I could take a nap.  Instead I will take a walk and hope it wakes me up.

Keith fell asleep around 3:30 which wasn't much before I woke up.  We both had trouble getting to sleep.

Back from watching the Tower Records documentary.  It's as good as BK described, and more -- just a wonderful look at an aspect of the culture that we - as a country, I guess - have so needlessly thrown out.

(I was stunned to learn that Tower/Japan is not only alive and well, but ... well, REALLY alive and well, and operating pretty much as the stores ever did.  They had been sold off at the beginning of the downturn for Tower.)

I did the right thing, watching this for my first time with no one around.  Man, I was rewinding and freeze-framing all over the damned place.  I do look forward to sharing it with friends who I know will appreciate it.

I did this interview 2-3 years ago; totally forgot about it.

Local meteorologists were surprised.  We had quite a nice shower this afternoon.  Rush hour has started and those windshield wipers and lights are ON.

I'm having salmon for supper.   That with a little lemon caper sauce.  Probably a side of french fries (air fried, naturally).
