There was a rather interesting film on TCM last night -- "Ivy", directed by William Cameron Menzies and starring Joan Fontaine, Patric Knowles and Herbert Marshall.  The supporting cast was filled with recognizable faces and excellent performances.  Universal, 1947.  Music by Daniele Amfitheatrof.

This is currently what we're thinking of - there will be one minor adjustment to it, but here's the idea.

My two favorite bad girl Joan Fontaine movies are Born to Be Bad and Serenade.

She was so beautiful!

I did this interview 2-3 years ago; totally forgot about it.

(I have to stop saying, "You know...".)

Today was INSANE at work. It's like the whole world woke up this morning and thought, "Gee. Maybe I should do something about health insurance, since the deadline is Sunday at midnight!"          :P

And now, I'm leaving work to go to my parents' for dinner with the family.  I don't know what my mom will make, but I'll find out soon enough.

Be back later.

I was having a dream about the musical Blood Brothers,  I have no idea why.

Were you Marilyn Monroe's shoes?
I ate lunch at a table under a photo of Marilyn this noon at Crazy Bob's Maximum Barbeque.   It's a new restaurant.  Really good pulled pork

DR George I like your new avatar.  I couldn't figure out how to put a new photo in there.  I was going to use one of us at the falls.
