Well, fighting with my printer wasn't ALL I did today.  I also finished reading STILL LIFE by Louise Penny, made homemade pizza for our dinner, and did some AAUW corresponding secretary work.

Oh, and I found Page 6!

Yes, I think so.  It's so popular with a lot of astute readers I know...

Getting my new contacts in was easier than I expected.  The fact the contacts weren't as floppy as my other contacts made up for them being larger.  I like that they are tinted a light blue.  I see just fine close up and some of those tinted contacts change my eye color to blue.

The script is different and I am noticing it.  I can also feel them because they are larger and thicker but I think that will be fine once I get used to them.   If my eyes dry out I won't be able to wear them.

I am waiting to read the 7th book.  While I like the series I don't believe I have actually suggested anyone SHOULD read it.

Well, most of them recommend it, so I guess, yes, they did enjoy it!

Oh, you asked if I enjoyed it.  Yes, to an extent.  At least enough to try another one or two.  Not sure I'll make it to #10, which was last month's book group selection.

Dear reader Jeanne apparently has not read the notes or she would have known that not only do I know about the third series of The Bridge, I watched it and wrote about it extensively right on this here site.

Because I only had an omelet and a bagel, I decided on a little steak for this evening, which I bought at Gelson's for six bucks.  It's not huge and only has about 400 calories, so it's perfectly perfect and is being broiled as I type this.

I received a rather painful e-mail from a friend who did not care for the show at all.  I will have to wait a day or two before I answer their message.

Unless someone forced them to give their opinion I find that beyond rude. I would just say "thanks for your opinion" and leave it at that.  Hopefully they did not say they hated your performance. Now that would be beyond rude.

Today I saw something advertised as "vegan leather." Does that mean a leatherette? I don't think I've ever heard the term "vegan leather" before.

The crowd here at "CMT" is getting pretty full.  I wonder if most of them are season subscribers.

I ran out of chili ( I had used 7 lbs of ground beef and filled the 6 quart crock pot ) an hour into the competition because so many people came back for additional servings so that left me free to leave my booth and try everyone elses

Well, it's going well and the intermission is almost over.  We'll see if anyone leaves and it's noticeable.
