TOD:
Cashews and macadamia nuts. Of course, those are the most expensive too. I really like all nuts except hazel nuts.

Good morning all:

My husband loves nuts.  He eats them every night.   I think he does eat Beer nuts that he gets at Wegmans.  I'm not sure, I'll ask him .

I love most any kind of nut, though I can only take one or two macadamias at a time. They're kinda oily to me.

Did anybody care for any of the commercials yesterday? I confess I found them largely uninspired and even creepy in a not good way.

I have now added STORMCHASERS to my list of books to read.  The eBook library doesn't have it so it might be awhile before I actually get the book.

Monday afternoon greetings!  Yesterday was a Lima day and my friend Becky dropped in right after we got home.  We visited for a while and when she left it was time to start watching the Super Bowl.  I went to bed as soon as it was over.

I had decided yesterday that I needed to see the doctor about the cough and fatigue I've had for about 6 weeks and was lucky enough to get an appointment at 9:30 this morning.  He put me on an inhaler, ordered a bunch of blood tests, and sent me for a chest x-ray.  Waiting for results, hoping I don't have pneumonia.

Although, they DO know how to cure that...

We felt the same way, DR John G, and I was disappointed in the outcome of the football game.  I thought Lady Gaga did fine with with National Anthem, but the halftime show didn't do much for me.

Beer Nuts

are made in Bloomington, Illinois, which is where my niece Laura lives.  There's a nice company store in the mall and she always brings a goodly supply of their products when she comes to visit.  At Thanksgiving, she brought a bag of peanuts, a bag of cashews, and a bag of almonds for both the upstairs Palmers and the downstairs Palmers.  Downstairs, we've eaten the cashews and peanuts and still have the almonds.

It looks like you can order online with free shipping.

It was a happy reunion at Brick-Run Physical Therapy this morning. Lisa, Louis, Gurjeet, and Morgan all seemed as happy to see me as I was to see them. Gurjeet had me run through some exercises and thinks my leg problems might be related to arthritis in my hip, rather thatn the previous spinal disk problems. Do, I just emailed my doctor for an X-ray referral.

DR Elmore, it's pretty clear that my Mother's leg pain originates in the hip she fell on - twice - without having it treated.  By the time it became crippling, she was too old for the replacement surgery that could have alleviated the pain.  Good for your PTs for suggesting this now and good for you for following up!

I've held off on mentioning this, but just got confirmation that all of this is correct - the plant has found that they have additional copies in the stuff that we store there of some long OOP titles, so I offer them here first, but only for a little while - limited numbers on each, so if you're missing any of these, grab 'em while you can.  These all have to be normal price of 19.98.  PM me if you need.

I really enjoyed the Super Bowl half time show.

I am a big fan of Cold Play, also think Bruno Mars is a terrific performer.

I called to confirm my upcoming appointment with me new Endocrinologist.  It turns out I was given the appointment with a different doctor.  He was not the one I had requested, in fact I didn't even realize there was another doctor in the practice.  The woman who made the appointment was very nice about the mistake and moved a couple of different appointments to fit me in before my medications run out.

Two problems with the new appointment, the first being that I have to cancel a get together with a high school friend that was planned awhile back, and that we have been trying to do since we moved here.
