Cough be gone vibes for Ginny

Thank you, DR Vixmom!  Any home remedy suggestions?

I like to take a large ceramic mug  cover the entire bottom with a thick layer of honey, cot a thick slice of lemon Being sure to remove the pips) and put that on top and then fill themug with really hot really strong tea.... And to help you sleep a liberal drop of whiskey ... Skip the whiskey if you want to stay awake

I wanted to try tea with honey yesterday, but our honey was all sugary and wouldn't even come out of the bottle.  If Richard calls on his way home from Dayton, I'll ask him to get some.  I think there's a lemon in the fridge.

When it was released, I first bought the LP box set, then later the CD set.

I play the CDs, but wouldn't be without that lovely LP box on the shelf.  Certain things like that just can't be let go.

There a two LP box sets on eBay now  both from foreign sellers.   There is also a brand new cd set for $3o on eBay.   Now I wonder if the set I am getting will have the booklet

If you set the honey bottle in a pan of hot water it should regain its original consistency. From what I hear honey doesn't go bad

DR Elmore:   What were the circumstances re the unreleased McGlinn recordings?  How many are there?

There are five recordings of various degrees of performance level, one suppressed show, and fragments of two others:
Babes In Toyland
The Lady of the Slipper
Oh, Lady! Lady!
Have A Heart
Leave It To Jane

There were the silent film score of Gloria's Romance,  songs by Kern for The Girl From Utah and Peter Pan that sit in limbo along with a complete Oh, Boy!.

The circumstances of the recordings not being released are complex and probably libelous if I relate them as I recall them!

Thanks for the honey advice, DRs Vixmom and ChasSmith, but I threw it away in disgust.

Just as well.  If I had something to throw away in disgust right now, I'd do it in solidarity.     :)

I figured someone would beat me to mentioning honey and hot water.   I still prefer fresh.

I'm up and have to go.  First thing that I have to do today is the matinee of "Circle Mirror Transformation."  We were told that it's sold out for today!

Right after that is done, I have about 45 minutes to get something to eat and get downtown (less than two miles away) to work concessions for an event at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, OLYMPIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA: LOVERS LOVE GREAT MELODIES.

Since TAO's "On the Verge" doesn't have a matinee today, I'm bringing my Kindle and my tablet with me so that I can post every once in a while...if there's wi-fi wherever I am.  Hopefully, there will be.
