Galley and covers approved and book is off to the printers - hopefully I'll have both next week and I can place my order - what's that's done, it's just two weeks, so mid-March.

Thursday morning greetings!  I slept all night without choking and woke up when Richard's alarm went off at 8:30.  I may live, after all...

Whew!!

Just so glad Grant caught that final big error.  Funnily, I'd looked at the word the other day and it didn't look right to me, then I forgot to check.  As I said, it was something the proofers didn't get, the Patrick Bronstein filmography - which I'd hastily typed as filmogrophy.

The helper is going to pull all the original art today - I believe I have several Lost in Boston covers, Unsung Musicals, and hopefully Anastasia Affaire.

I thank those of you who participated in our Appalachian Christmas title survey.  89 participated and 53 of them preferred "Moonshine and Mistletoe," so I guess that will be the new title.

And after two days of running with no problem, my DVR is kicking up a fuss.  Time Warner is coming back tomorrow morning to replace the DVR. Why they didn't do it on Monday is beyond me.

Just had a nice visit with Nick Redman.  Courtesy of him, I've just added a new perk - ten great Twilight Time Blu-rays (almost all musicals) at a  savings of close to $125 or more, since postage is free.  Here's the description - and there's only one available:

Courtesy of Twilight Time, an amazing Blu-ray perk. In keeping with the fact that this campaign is for a musical, we've tried to have ten titles that are either musicals or feature musical performers. The 10 titles are: The Fantasicks, Stormy Weather, Yentl, Funny Lady, The Way We Were, Pal Joey, Bye Bye Birdie (long OOP), Oliver, The Eddy Duchin Story, and Absolute Beginners, featuring the late great David Bowie! Only 1 package available. Save over $100 off list price. Act now!

That sums it up for me.  Spent two hours in a dentist's chair (my dentist, that is) this morning.  Was supposed to be, at this moment in time, at a doctor's appointment (follow-up on my meds and labs related to my recent ills) but my doctor cancelled on me to attend a clinic.  Rescheduled for next week.

Sigh.

As to my recent ills, I have to report that I feel really good.

Not only that, but I am getting great sleep at night thanks to the CPAP!
