I know that many celebrities use stylists, but I continue to feel that they miss the point. What's important isn't how the gown looks on the hanger, it's how it looks on the wearer--and, in this case, how well they photograph. The paler colors tend to look washed out. Bolder colors work better, in my opinion.

Just back from San Angelo. It was a nice visit with friends that included my sleeping for 11 hours one night and 10 hours the next. They slept about the same, so I didn't feel bad.

I will welcome the day when women's hair styles for dressy occasions return. To me, an evening gown with low-maintenance, this-is-how-I-dress-when-I-do-the-grocery-shopping hair just isn't right.
