Not 15 minutes before that, the Best Director winner was interrupted with play-him-off music, even though he was giving a very powerful message against discrimination.

Personally, I believe that a director is more important than an actor, especially on a film.

Yes, where once people leapt to their feet and got to the stage as quickly as possible, now we have this other thing and it's just so pompous and unnecessary.

I have no comments about the fashions of the evening, although I will say that Sophia Vergara would look hot in anything.
