I am almost done with THOSE WHO SAVE US, by Jenna Blum.

It is one of the best books I have ever read.

I think she is a very gifted writer.

I will read more of her books!!!

My greatest passion in life at this point is probably writing or just plain old creating something.  It's really always been that way.

And the publisher already called and said they're working on the interior to make it right, but as I said, what we sent them WAS right unless something weird happened with the PDF but I cannot imagine that because I printed the book from he PDF and the blacks were BLACK, so I'm pretty sure whatever happened happened on THEIR end.

I should see something today or tomorrow, then they have to print that and send it to me and it's all so irritating.  But I'm nor ordering until I know it's up to our standards.

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  It's another spring-like day here in SW Ohio and Richard and Rob have already been out for walks.  Just taking a shower and getting dressed exhausts me...

Last night, I was ready for bed at 9 p.m.

And thus, I went to bed.

And it was all I could do to drag myself out of bed at 5:40 a.m.

I'm usually up anywhere between 4:45 a.m. and 5 a.m.

I blame the C-PAP.  I'm sleeping SO WELL!

Great news. When the power when out last night, so did my machine. I did not sleep well as a result. I really need that machine.

You need a manual version...and a gerbil on a wheel to keep it going when the power goes out!

DR Ron I know people who have posted something on FB and then stated they were not looking for particular responses and why they shared whatever.  You could have used a heads up from the person you just unfriended.

Facebook is the Vast Wasteland that television used to be.  It's also a bit like the Wild Wild West.

I have probably only "unfriended" two or three people in all these many years....there are a few more that I could for this reason or that....

I comment a bit less on some things - it's NOT that important to me to express my opinion on what other people say.  What I think about something is usually not changed by a Facebook post, and I sincerely doubt that anything I may write on Facebook would change someone else's mind about anything.

THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS
THE JUDGE
CAKE
MY LEFT FOOT

Nice gift DR Kevin.

I don't know about CAKE or that I would watch it.  I would need to know more.

I have not seen THE BOY IN THE....... It looks very interesting.

I recall thinking MY LEFT FOOT was terrific.
I thought SNIPER & JUDGE were good.

My favorite review of Seth Ridetsky's new musical DISASTER: It's possible to imagine a mood that may only be satisfied by a couple of hours of watching really good performers having a lark with really bad material

Haven't seen them yet. Thumbs up or down?

They're mixed.

I suspect, like XANADU, the camp element will keep it running for a bit.  I'd see it for Kerry Butler and Adam Pascal. Personally, I am not fond of Seth Rudetsky, but I loved his book BROADWAY NIGHTS.

I am back from Staples, and the lamp is not in stock.  It would take 7-10 days for delivery.  So, once i got home, I thought i'd check Amazon.  They had it, but they also had a great photo of the lamp base. Once I realized that I had lost a part of the base when the lamp collapsed, I went back tyo my work area. found the missing piece, repaired it and I'm back in business.

I've also packed two cartons for the library, and after I left Staples, I realized I should have purchased wrapping tape. There's always tomorrow.

I'd like to ship everything out next week.

The book stuff is driving me crazy - they supposedly fixed the black to 100% (neither Grant nor I believe them about the text itself being 82% black as he did nothing different on this book from any other and the text has always been 100% black.  But in fixing that all the chapter headings, the chapter titles, and the headers all turned 100% black and that's not the book design - those things are all in two different shades of gray - one dark gray and the other light gray.  So now they have to put that stuff back the way it was.

This is insane.  What is so difficult about following the parameters you've established for the last umpteen books?

Exactly.  I've never had this problem.  But they looked at Red Gold, for example, and the type there is 100% black and they're saying this isn't and we just don't get it.

Speaking of % - we've made a huge jump today on the Indiegogo campaign and are 99% to our goal with less that $200 to go and that's with two full days left - so once we hit the goal, which I know we will, the new goal will be to get a bit more and cover the Indiegogo/Paypal fees.  But hitting the goal means the Indiegogo fees are MUCH less.

So many like to re-invent the wheel since they know they can do it better than it already is.

And we have not only reached our goal, we just went over it - we are now 107% funded thanks to a $1,000 producer perk being taken.  So, now we just need to keep going a little further and we'll have covered the Indiegogo fees and then if we go beyond that we can add a second keyboard player to the band and that would be incredible.
