Well, this is pretty cool!  My friend Jacqui is featured in this "Evening Magazine" segment about Burial Grounds, a sort of goth coffee shop here in Olympia:

Friday morning greetings!  It appears that I've been logged in here since who-knows when - sorry.

Yesterday was a very long day and I was quite tired when I got home about 9pm.  I got to the symposium in time for lunch and all the afternoon sessions, including the grand finale.  The speaker was Judy Smith, whose life is fictionalized into the TV series SCANDAL.  She was quite entertaining and now I want to watch the series.

Katie and I decided that if we went home neither of us would feel like going back out for our current events discussion, so we stopped for dinner and went directly to the public library.  It was so nice to catch up and compare notes on the coughs we both have.

So, this morning I'm off to the southern Dayton 'burbs for coffee with my successor's successor at Dayton Metro Library.  She has sounded quite overwhelmed in the emails we've exchanged.  I'd had the benefit of working alongside my predecessor for several years and I got to spend a week with my replacement.  Susan has walked in cold to a very chaotic environment.

Today I will see our DR ChasSmith at the orchestra reading of 1776. I look forward to the rehearsal.  When I spoke to Joshie yesterday, he was feeling a bit of stress on wrapping things up yesterday.

Several years ago, I discovered that some company I had used once - cannot remember what it was now - had been deducting a monthly charge for over a year. I check my statement online every day now.

I don't know if I will be watching much of anything this weekend.

BearManor Media is coming out with an updated edition of my first book, PAUL MUNI: His Life and His Films.  I received the final proofs yesterday and I'll probably be checking them all weekend.

After that, assuming they arrive today or tomorrow, I'll be correcting the proofs for 2 new plays in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection.
