Dinner last night at my parents' was fun. The cheese lasagna was by Stouffers, and the garlic bread and chocolate cake were from Winco, but it was all quite good and everyone enjoyed it all. We played Scrabble and probably only the second time in my life, I WON!! I beat my mom at Scrabble...although, she did help me a couple of times.

Today, I'm auditioning for a show called "Seven Ways to Get There," by Bryan Willis and Dwayne Clark. I don't know Dwayne Clark, but I've known Bryan Willis for close to 20 years...not closely, but enough to have chatted quite a bit over the years. He's quite a good author, so I'm really looking forward to potentially being in a show that he's written.

The audition starts at 3:00 pm, but I need to get to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts by 6:00 to usher for MASTERWORKS CHORAL ENSEMBLE: HARMONY SWEEPSTAKES A CAPPELLA FESTIVAL. I've ushered every year that I've been able to, and it's a lot of fun...usually. There have been some not so great performers, but overall it's one of the shows that I look forward to ushering for every year.

Actually as luck would have it the closing from last week that was cancelled was put on for today at the last second so I'll be making a flying visit to nyc to close the loan.today

Got home a little after nine and grabbed a quick cup of coffee and did a couple of household things that needed doing. And then at. 11 it was time to head out to the airport
