I did not get to the Easter a Vigil tonight.   The Vixter went and said my mom was there as well

Your father's death seem to have had a religious effect on your mother.

Yes much to my surprise.  She never showed any interest my entire life.

Well, I hope it is giving her comfort.

I fixed a french toast casserole that has no meat so my daughter will have something to eat; I made biscuits and sausage gravy; I made three flavors of yogurt (the only way I can get my daughter to eat yogurt - no gelatin); I squeezed a lot of oranges for juice. I will put some steel-cut oats in the crockpot before I go to bed tonight for the people who insist on eating healthy on holidays.

What yogurt has gelatin?  French toast casserole sounds good.

DR Jennifer, speedy recovery from you coloring book injuries....don't mean to tease, It's something I could see happening to me. I'm sure it's painful and I do wish you a speedy recovery, but the idea of coloring causing injury made me giggle

Reading this made me giggle.

Tomorrow I'm going to meet my family for brunch and then we'll get to see Samantha and Don's new lake home.  It's a second home for them and just up the street from my parents cottage.  Should be fun to see it.

That is nice they are close to your parent's.  Have a hood time.

He was kind enough to share the recipe. I always get compliments when I make them. And. Always make extraS for me!!!

What I love about good deviled eggs is that they also make really good egg salad sandwiches. :D

Reall, I have never made a sandwich with them.  After all that work I like them as I made them ;).

Don't get me wrong, I would eat them as deviled eggs, too, but if but you're just not in the mood for a side dish and there are any left over, they can be cut up and put on bread (or some other edible holder) and be turned into a main food item ;D

It sounds tasty.

Ummmm what's a left over deviled egg.  Never seen such a thing ;)

;D. Since I only make them for myself anymore I  make enough to last 2-3 days using 4 eggs.

We met friends this afternoon to see the house they are building and then went out to dinner.  We went to a Thai restaurant they like and agree it was very good.

Thanks George.  I thought C & H sugar was ok.  I will have to double check this.  I am pretty sure my yogurt is vegetarian.

I want to return to reading the adventures of a certain teen in Hollywood.  We seem to have one thing in common, our typing skills on a phone/tablet keyboard.
