BK, there's some bug going around that causes nausea and headaches. It hit me last week, I took Sambucol and thought I was almost rid of it, then it crept back.

I find "voting" in the primary elections very odd here in Washington.

Had a lovely lunch with friends from church. Ham, plenty of veggies and Italian cream cake.

Now I'm home, watching the last two hours of The Happiest Millionaire.

Today we saw MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2 and enjoyed it.  We liked it much more than the reviews would suggest.  Yes, there is much that isn't new but that is ok.  It has the same heart and likable characters as the original.

I couldn't do salad today - the red wine vinegar would have irritated my throat even more than it is.  I had a breakfast burrito instead.

I never really spent a lot of time in Hollywood except to go to the Chinese Theater and walk the area there. The only Mel's, that I can recall, I've eaten at was the one in San Francisco when we lived across the bridge in Tiburon.

Thank you. I want to see it for those two reasons. It doesn't have to be new. If it were too new then people wouldn't like because of too many changes.

DR Cillaliz, I didn't look at my original post to see if I didn't make sense. But my shoulder/neck problem was not caused by coloring.  I just couldn't color because my neck/shoulder muscle was hurting. And it aggravated it when I colored. :)

LOL, ok I misread it. Hope your shoulder is feeling better

Well, we were planning to do brunch at a restaurant at the lake. It's pricey but it's what Sam and her DH like so we had reservations for 10 of us.   I drove the 100 plus miles to get there and got a text from S's DH saying they wouldn't be going to brunch/dinner because of a big family fight the night before. Argument, is really what I'm sure it was but it apparently started between S and her mom and then the DH had too much and he blew up.   Not knowing if I was just going to turn around and drive home, I called my brother. Luckily my brother, his wife and mom and dad were on their way so we still had Brunch/dinner with the 5 of us  Then we stopped to check on mom and dad's cottage and then I came home.  4 hours in the car and 1 1/2 hours with family, lol

I do not know what the disagreements were about, I do not wish to know.   Mom and I sort of did a high five because for the first time we can remember no one was blaming either of us for anything.   We had a pleasant enough brunch and I got home about 2 1/2 hours earlier than I expected.   I assume they'll all work it out, they always do.  But at least mom and I aren't to blame :)

We had a nice visit with Richard's brother and his wife and my dinner turned out just as I'd planned.  Plenty of leftovers!

It was cold last night and the cat was back in the window well this morning.  I quick got dressed and took out some dry food, but it was gone before I could get the food out there.   The food is still there.  I'll be curious to see if it's there in the morning.  If it's gone it could be another animal that gets it, I won't really know.   The cat must be getting food somewhere because it never waits around for food or to try to get food

I agree, but I doubt they would have fought at the restaurant.  I do think it may have been tense

You gotta love families. They put the fun in dysfunctional.

The Happiest Millionaire is miles too long, clocking in at 2:55. The story just can't support it, and Tommy Steele is insufferable.

But those Sherman Brothers songs. They make it worthwhile.

Tense can ruin the evening, and you drive so far to get there.
