No, he was inside during the wind storm, but his nurse at the ER yesterday was also taking care of a man who was hit by a falling branch that, I surmise, hurt his right hip or leg pretty badly. I suspect after we left the hospital they had a few more weather-related visits.

I'm up, I'm up - I slept eleven hours, I think, which is great except I'm really groggy and I now have only two and a half hours before I mosey on over to The Federal. But I needed it. If I'm to jog that will have to happen in thirty minutes.

I've just returned from buying the ingredients for a crockpot full of chili for AAUW's soup supper tomorrow evening. Usually I leave a hearty serving at home for Richard's dinner, but probably not this time. He's still on a bland diet of bananas, applesauce, and white toast. Sounds like what his mother used to eat.

Yesterday I came across something I'd never heard of. What?! A weird medical device that I don't know about? It's called a Lumen and uses light therapy. It's good for pain or burns or any number of other things. It's recommended by Sherry Rogers, MD, whose opinion I respect.

I used to have severe allergies. Eight years of treatment with a homeopath reduced them. Still have them, but not to your degree. Have you considered any of the alternative methods, such as quercetin, stinging nettle, or even a salt lamp?

I'm back from She Loves Me. What a great show! Laura Benanti was just fantastic. What a voice! Loved the whole cast. Jane Krakowski was very funny. Gavin Creel does a great job on the song Ilona. I 'd love to see it again.
