DR Ron you provided lots of good links today.  I will have to watch the ice skating later, unfortunately on my little computer screen vs our big tv.

I am off in a bit to Day Two of auditions.  Of course we need a few more men.....we probably have enough women, but someone better may show up.

This is my first time working with this pianist and music/vocal director.....we shall see how this turns out.  Of course, as the choreographer, it's not really my place to do much more than add my two cents on the casting.....

For some reason, the director has decided that he needs two actresses to play Amy....one younger and one older......of course he set the age limit at 14, so all of the girls are really basically the same age.....

The girl he is looking at for Jo right now is just not a strong enough actress to carry the show....she is a high school senior, and seems even younger....

Maybe JO will show up tonight.

I don't know how many of you know of Don Francks, but he has passed away.

Some of you may recall that his death was reported a year or so ago...inaccurately.  Now, it seems, it's sadly true.  He has died of cancer.

For anyone has seen "Finian's Rainbow", he played Woody and wooed Petula Clark in a gorgeous duet of "That Old Devil Moon."

I knew Don.  I'm trying to remember where I knew him from.

TOD:

St. Elsewhere
Northern Exposure
First season of Temperature's Rising
First season of House Calls
MASH

And Northern Exposure!  I loved that show!

And I can't believe I forgot China Beach.

Sorry, Elmore, for your familial grief.

Orchestrations? The film ones aren't as good as the Broadway originals.

If you have wi-fi and a wi-fi capable receiver or Blu ray player, you can watch youtube on the big screen!

LOL! I read "familiar"!

Yes, my brothers have so screwed up that damned property I will be paying $!200+ a year on taxes for the rest of my fucking life instead of having the proceeds from the sale to keep me relatively secure. God, they piss me off.

Don Knotts was one of the best physical actors of our time, hands down.

Anyone else agree???

Yes, however, Keith does not watch ice skating which is part of the reason I stopped watching.  We watch enough tv.  I prefer not to watch more on my own.

We have been watching a variety of very old shows on Youtube.  Currently our three favorite shows are Fury, Burns & Allen, and The Rebel.

My favorite character is Opie, always has been.  I would not call myself a big fan.

Loved all three shows...especially "Fury".  I wanted to be Joey, the boy on the ranch with the horse named "Fury".

Of course, I also wanted to be Kevin Corcoran so that I could have played Moochie and Toby Tyler.

Fury is still my favorite horse.  Keith and I laugh over the various ways Fury saves Joey's life.  Fury is just sooooo cute.

I had plans to go see tulips at the tulip farm in Oregon.  I canceled them yesterday thinking it would rain today.  It didn't rain, still it was good I was home.  I had to sign for my new iPhone.

I was very excited my new phone would be in a pretty color.  I did not notice that most of the images were of the back and the side of the phones.  The front is not a pretty color, it is white.  I do not like white for phones, tablets, etc.
