DR John G, I know of no recipes for stinging nettles. Those of us who take it for allergies are taking it in capsule form. (How boring!) I don't even know where one would buy fresh nettles.

The buzz around my apartment building has been about mail theft. It seems that a car parked in our narrow, one-car-wide driveway over the weekend and one (at least) mailbox was entered and its mail torn up. The police think they know who's doing it and think these people have a master mailbox key. Now when the mail arrives there's a stampede to get one's mail before someone else does.

You'd think there'd be an app for this. Maybe there is. I'd like to see combination locks, that can be reset, on the mailboxes.

Jane, which iPhone did you buy? The SE or one of the 5 series? I have the 5 and have been happy with it. I hope you like yours. If you buy a protective case for it, I suggest open access to all the buttons. The first case I bought was attractive, but it was too difficult to turn the phone on and off. The one I have now works fine.

Back from a sandwich and some chili cheese fries - too much food and I only ate a portion of the fries and half the sandwich - brought the other half home.

I guess you feel fine now.  chili cheese-really after feeling sick!

Confirmation received.  BJ Clark has had to drop out of the LA show (on very short notice, I may add), but I was then given leave to bring in someone of my own choice who wasn't an alum, given we're only days from beginning rehearsals.  So, I'm pretty thrilled to say it's going to be our very own Robert Yacko.  It's exactly the person I needed all along frankly.

Good news :)

TOD:

for most stomach upsets I use the homeopathic Carbo Veg. (available at Whole Foods Market for under $8.) Buy the 30C potency. Although I agree with ginger ale and soda crackers, this has the advantage of being very portable. It's the size of a tube of Chapstick, doesn't require refrigeration, etc. Very effective.

I've used charcoal before but it didn't do much good.  It didn't look like this so maybe I'll give it a try.

If the problem is nausea, Arsenicum Album. (Again a 30C potency, again available at Whole Foods for under $8.) Works with nausea 80% of the time or more.

This is what I probably need.  I hate being nauseated.  I can get violent stomach aches that also make my back hurt. If they are bad enough I feel like I will throw up.  Only a heating pad helps.  If it isn't bad walking will but they can disable me so I can't walk.

I have the SE.  I didn't want a case because it just made the too large, yes too large for me, phone slightly larger ;D

I got a clear case and it has silver buttons placed over the 2 sound buttons & the on/off button.  There is a quick off button for the sound that only has a whole in the case making it more difficult to use, not a big deal though.

They were out of the protective glass cover which I might order on-line.

My phone can register your thumb print so you don't have to put your code in every time.  The phone that arrived in the mail would not register my thumb to set it up.  I was going to have to wait for another phone.  As we were talking UPS arrived at the store with my phone, and in the rose gold, so we traded right then :)

I have to get my apps back in it and set up the information.  Keith said he will set it up in the morning and I can do the apps later.

TCB:  Zachary Levi was so nice at the stage door.  First he came out with a boombox (or whatever the modern equivalent is called) and put some music on.  Then he started at the beginning of the line and signed autographs for everyone who wanted one.  Then he went back to the beginning of the line again and took photos with those who wanted them.

I know quite a few fields in Germany where you can harvest your own. But that's not very practical, is it?

Well, I need to leave work and run a couple of errands before I go home.  One is to buy the new Star Wars movie.  I'm thinking of getting it at Target because it has exclusive bonus material.  I don't always need (or even want) such bonus material, but since I'm going to be on that side of town, I might as well see if it's in stock.
