Really enjoying I'll See You in My Dreams. Blythe Danner gives a wonderful performance as a widow who finds her life is not going as well as she'd like it. She meets someone much younger and she meets Sam Elliott. Her best friends are Rhea Perlman, May Kay Place and June Squibb, who are all fun.

I always thought that Mary Kay Place should have had a bigger career. I have loved her in everything I have seen her in, but especially THE BIG CHILL.

She's got a great short role in New York, New York as a third-rate singer who manages a duet of Blue Moon with Robert De Niro.

After the training (it ended about an hour and a half early...nice!), I decided to go to Silver Platters. It's less than 10 miles north of SeaTac, so I had plenty of time!

I bought some older cast recordings: the original Broadway cast recordings to "Do Re Mi" and "Annie Get Your Gun," the original bare-bones version of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" that was sold at the theater without the three bonus tracks, and the original CD release of the OBCR of "Dreamgirls." I have the 2-CD release, but this is autographed by Sheryl Lee Ralph! It's autographed to someone named Eddie, but for only $3.99, who cares?

The last CD that I bought is by Teatro ZinZanni, Love Chaos & Dinner. I bought this on a whim. I have no idea what it's like...but I don't doubt that it'll be enjoyable.
