It's been a crazy month.  I did someone come up with the money to send in for my taxes, so all is well

I have gotten much busier and much more involved in the community in the past few months.  I love it.

Came home with some familial irritation. I don't think she's nearly as bad as my bro and sis in law paint her to be.

Let's see.  had a meeting Monday night, Tuesday night some neighbors and I decided to clean up the area across the street from me.  It's about a 10-15 foot stretch and then goes straight down hill to the homes that own the property.  They never take care of it.  I called the city and they said it was within the city right of way so they cut down the dead trees and bushes.  But they left a mess. So we got our rakes and went to clean it up. One of the women who live at the bottom of the hill came out yelling at us. Then she called the police.

I would have loved to have heard that call  "You've got to come quick, people are raking the back of my property" Anyway, we kept raking and left and the police didn't come.  I did see the call on the police logs but never saw the police come

let's see, the new neighbors finally arrived. They will be here for a month.  Really nice people. I'm very glad they are there.  I've visited with them a couple times. They also love animals.  That's cool

There were several meetings, and of course running my business. Oh and I took a day off, took the cat to the vet, went to the chiropractor and on and on.....and that was just this past week

They are revamping part of the stadium and putting up a new high tech scoreboard.  One of my favorite players smashed some of the lights out last summer and then lightning killed it.  It was very old anyway. A new one will be exciting

Thanks George!  It was a very nice day. Actually we celebrated the day before her birthday. Pan fried chicken at her favorite restaurant and cake and ice cream at my niece's lake home.  Pleasant

Well, I need to leave work and head to the theater.  Tonight is the first of two nights of reading from The Beat Generation.  I'm sure it'll be quite exciting. :D

Until later!

Well, the show started, and in the middle of the second reader (a longish excerpt from "Howl"), one woman had a coughing fit and had to leave.  I went out with her to make sure that everything is okay.  Just as she was about to go back in, two other women showed up, wanting to buy tickets.  I said that it's already started...was that okay?  They both said that it was, so they paid their $10 and we all went in (and unfortunately, not too quietly).  The three women waited at the entrance (I had to get back to the tech deck) and when the reader was finished, they all sat down.  Now, it's all good. :)

She asked if I would get her an autographed photo of an actress that she likes for her present.  I did.  It's easier that way.

I love my new computer.  I can see it without wearing glasses over my contacts :)  It works much better than my little laptop which is now in our kitchen.

DR Jane-what type of computer did you get?

A Dell Inspiran all in one touch. 23.8" screen.

I want to wish TCB MEGA travel vibes and a GREAT TRIP!

I believe tomorrow is his flight to Florida, and then on Sunday he begins the cruise.

Wow. Jane has a new phone, a new tablet, AND a new computer. An embarrassment of electronics. Three learning curves. But fun.
