Today is my niece's 32nd birthday.  We're all meeting at my parents' house to celebrate.  Her other grandmother will come over, as well as her aunt and uncle.  It won't be the happiest of days because her dad (son to her other grandmother, and aunt's brother) died two weeks ago.  But, it'll be what it'll be.

Wishes she still manages to have a good day.  It is nice that her other grandmother and aunt will also be there.

When I am nauseated I find matzos helps as does small sips of ginger ale or pepsi.

I've finished my HHW project: for the past 3-5 months I've been going through all of my posts between Jan. 2006 and Nov. 20, 2007, looking for all posts pertaining to my dad's cancer, death, and estate settlement.  I just finished with Nov. 20, 2007.  Now I willt to edit and clean up my posts so that there is a record for my family.

Is this for a memoir, Larry?

(I likely have missed some discussion of this during the height of busy season.)

It must have been a daunting project, but what a wonderful resource of essential history to draw on.

Wow, that is a major project.  Did you separate all of your efforts to sell the property?

Dry on the prairie this spring. We've had some rain but nto a lot. We are still three inches below normal. We lacked in snow cover also. Iowa had a lot more snow than we did.

Yesterday, was a weird day weather wise. Fargo had sun and 73 but when i went to visit a freind in Jamestown, ND (90 miles to the west) it was 44, drizzle, and light fog.

A few interesting things lately... Taking a class to learn Dakota/Lakota.
Watching a person recieve their karma.
Working on a few writing projects...
I'm not quite sure how to take a step with one of them. I am a novice and perhaps ignorant of how the process works of getting published.
Hoping good things will happen...

Careful  how you use it.. ammunition is good when used judiciously

I've used peppermint or chamomile tea

Well, I need to get ready for my niece's birthday.  I must shower, shave, get dressed, and then leave.

Have a good day, all!

Well, my day got pretty jumpy.  i did get through Act One of the Moross score for tomorrow, had a phone conversation with Qright State about the Kern 1917 shows, spoke to my friend Peter Foley about some possible work, and emailed the Library of Congress.  I need some food and a nap.

I woke up twice during the night - the first time I thought I was a goner and would have to throw up but I just stayed in bed, found a good position and fell back asleep.  That was good.  Second time was just a loo break.  I don't remember any dreams last night.
