My doctor has dropped out of my network.  She referred me to another doctor.  I am still trying to get rid of this $#%% cough.

I called the new doctor to make an appointment and mentioned the referral.  The lady at the office asked me what insurance I had.  After I told her, she told me that the first available appointment with the primary partner would be August 1, and that the first available appointment with the secondary partner would be June 1.

I told her thanks but that I would be dead by then.....there was no response.....so I hung up.

So I guess I am looking for a new doctor.....

Okay, I see yesterday turned into a discussion of mispronounced words. My pet peeves are saying com-para-ble (as it's spelled), instead of  pronouncing it com-pra-ble and saying jew-ler-y (as it's not spelled) instead of correctly pronouncing it jew-el-ry.

I pronounce the g in gnat. Just because.

I do that with gnu.

Sip and paint?  What does she do? Get you drunk and force you to paint her house?

So I went to the car wash and then home to dress for the funeral

Won't vixdad spring for a plumber to fix your shower?

Vixmom, the service and the reception sound lovely.  I hope your mother was pleased.  Hopefully the events of today will help bring you some closure.

Elmore, I am surprised to see you signed in this evening.  Well, I guess it isn't even seven o'clock in New York.

At the moment, the SS Poseidon remains upright.  I practically fell off of the bed when I was napping earlier.

These things drive me especially crazy during the month of Feb-you-ary.

I saw a commercial for...something for sale (or an event) last year, and the announcer kept pronouncing it as "Feb-brrr-ary," like "brrr, it's cold out."  He had to say Feb-brrr-ary over and over during the commercial.  I'd never heard that pronunciation before.  It was very strange...funny, but strange.

;)

Possibly intentional?

I have not yet seen Ms. Winters onboard ship, but I have seen several candidates for the role Shelley's big sister.

Expecting seas tonight between 15 and 25 feet.  I guess that sounds a lot worse than  it actually is.

If Shelly Winters shows up, get a lifeboat.

If anybody else who's been dead for more than 20 years shows up, just get.

LOL

A shame.  Will you call your doctor back and ask for another referral?

We are still looking for a new doctor that will accept Medicare.  At this point I think we are just hoping we don't get sick and will change our insurance in October.

I assumed that that's just how the voice-over actor pronounced it.  I can't imagine that he was told to pronounce it that way.
