Tonight was Ascension Day and our church (Ascension Lutheran) hosted a service for all the local Lutheran congregations. It was a really lovely service with music provided by a choir made up of members of the various churches .

And today the boss decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. He treated us all to a meal for the local Mexican restaurant I had a very nice chicken quesadilla We also shared a bottle of some tasty sangria

Everyone seemed to enjoy what they got except one person who got the hamburger and fries (she cannot handle any kind of spicy). She said the burger wasn't bad, just kind of bland. I got to have a few of her fries and they were very good.
