Yes it's good sleeping weather DR GINNY.  And it's supposed to be like this all week.

What it's NOT good for is unloading a dresser at the AAUW garage sale venue, but it has to be done.  It's taking up all but the driver's seat in my car.  We really don't want to unload it more than once.

Joshie had some work, which I did for him, and now the orchestra parts are on the stands and waiting for the players.

My left knee is killing me and I cannot stand comfortably on it this morning.

Today is a "local holiday" so there's no school.  So, it's a sorta slow day around here, but still things to accomplish.

I've been binging on "Gilmore Girls" for 3 weeks now.  I started season 6 last night.  It's a wonderfully written show and well acted, but frankly, it seems as if things may be slowing down?  I don't know....

I love man buns. Because no matter how awful I look after hiking in the mountains, at least I don't have a man bun.

Ha!

TOD:
I don't know that I've ever seen a play that I saw later as a movie. But there's two movies I can think of that are basically filmed plays that I enjoyed very much:
Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean
A Case of Libel

I loved Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Great cast, fun melodrama.

Did you see the play or the film?  I saw the play, which I thought was dreadful: every character had to have their revelatory moment so the last act was a lot of cheap desperate scenes of over-emoting, Sandy Dennis was her usual bag of ticks and tricks, Cher had no idea of what acting was since you can't piece together a live performance, but i did like Sudie Bond and Kathy Bates.

I couldn't wait to get out of the theatre.  I forget which theatre it was now.  The Martin Beck, maybe?

I saw a couple of community theater productions of it, then the movie.

I just got an e-mail for my work's PayPal account that says:

Quote
We’re revising Section 13.5 and will be requiring all buyers to wait at least 7 days to escalate a dispute to a claim regardless of the transaction amount.

BK, I'm sure that that'll help reduce the unwarranted PayPal disputes...hopefully.

William Schallert est mort.

93, not bad.  He was married either 67, or 66 years-not bad either.  I'm not sure which because this article says his wife passed away last year but other places show them still married.

I started to say that's pretty amazing for a Hollywood marriage, but then I realized it's pretty amazing for ANY marriage!

Here's a how-de-do: my email, and phone are dead.  I called Time warner and their phone number is dead. I went to their website. It's not loading in. I can't even call to complain.

Yes.  I can't remember who the elderly couple were that replied, when asked what the secret to a long marriage is, that the secret is to live a long time-or something like that.

If Keith and I both live until he is 90, plus a couple of months, we will have been married for 70 years.

My guess is that they are aware of a problem.
