Is anyone still watching CASTLE?  We wonder why we are still watching, so it is not with regret that I say tonight will be the last episode.

I may not regret Castle, however, Keith and I are very sorry to learn that both THE GRINDER & GRANDFATHERED have been cancelled.  Both these shows were highly rated by the critics.

I'm still watching, but I haven't seen the last couple of episodes.  I'm kind of glad that it's ending now, and not continuing without Beckett.  I can't believe that her contract wasn't renewed if they went into one more season! >:(

I gather Nathan Fillion decided he was the clout and wanted her out.

I'd heard about some folder on the PMs page that had "filtered" messages - I never could find it but today I did and holy smokes - most were spam, but there were some others that were important and from really interesting people - going all the way back to 2009.

I'm guessing, if there was a chance the show would be renewed, dropping her cinched it.  We really should have stopped watching when they botched the wedding episode with Castle's disappearance.

Supposedly they didn't get along.  I would say then they are talented actors as it never showed.

We gave up on CASTLE a long time ago.  Richard stopped watching when it started conflicting with NCIS: LA and I gave up after the "wedding" episode.  I was sorry to hear about the interpersonal stuff.

I was sorry too.  It doesn't help the show when people leak that stuff.  Truly, the scripts on the whole just weren't very good.  It was too easy to guess who did it based on previous formats.

Publicly Fillion, and others in the cast, were shocked and upset that she would not be returning.

Correction on the "Harper Valley PTA" song.  The song in my head was "Echo Valley 2-6809" by the Partridge Family.  I can see how they can get mixed up.  Well... sorta

Great, now I have  Pleasant  Valley Sunday stuck in my head

Trouble on the set.

I never knew.  That's too bad, though.  I could see a spin-off/revamped series, something along the lines of "Castle Investigations."  That would be cool.

I like how they had expanded that story line.

Listening to a set of Sun Records music recorded by Sam Phillips. Great stuff, and most of it is new to me. But I did love the inclusion of Roy Orbison singing "Ooby Dooby." Obscure Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and, of course, Elvis along with B.B. King, Charlie Rich, Howlin' Wolf, John Prine and so many other articles who came through that studio.

I loved visiting it when i was in Memphis.
