Woke up at ten-thirty - but didn't get to sleep until three, so not quite eight hours.

One more day of school and I'm off to Chicago for some brainless R&R and some sight seeing.

We had a 2:15 hours luncheon at The Smith, 63rd & Broadway.  Rose, Susan's friend, and I had the mushroom omelet, Susan had the salmon benedict. It was a lovely time.

At 10:30 I stopped at my bank.  They had the check, which mysteriously had resulted in a deposit slip but was not posted to my account.  it was re-deposited and it is now showing up on my online account.

They will cover any charges incurred, they say, but I'm holding onto all records from today and yesterday.  Just in case.

Good morning. It is still morning here, for another 20 minutes or so.

I've been getting up at 4 a.m. every day to be at the trailhead at 5 a.m. when they unlock the gate. It is hot. But it will be worse when monsoon starts and it is humid as well.

I started doing this to lose weight. I haven't lost anything. It seems I need to hike three hours daily just to maintain. That's not right.

Sad day.

One of my co-workers' went to India this past weekend to spend time with her dying mother.  Her mother died this morning.

Another co-worker's wife had an operation a couple of weeks ago.  Some therapy was going to be needed and she was set to be moved to a rehab center last Friday, but something wasn't quite right.  The doctors decided they needed to operate again.  The wife went into a coma.  The family will decide this week whether to remove life support based upon what her doctors say.

Very sad.  Very troubling.

I'm not sure whether this video was posted here.  Its theme seems to be "Not everyone wants a baby, but everyone wants HAMILTON tickets."  Quite funny!

Little Women re-opens tonight.  We are sold out Thursday and Friday with just a few seats left for tonight and Saturday.  Our theatre seats 198 folks, so we are making some money, and making some people happy.

For some reason there are a lot of NEW people attending our theatre for the first time to see this show....

Congrats, Jrand!

Tonight is the final dress rehearsal without an audience for TAO's "The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged)."  The actresses got through it all last night in about two hours (not including intermission), but it'll tighten up as the weekend progresses.  Tomorrow is our invited $5 preview, and then we open on Friday!

Well, I managed to get through the day with $4.00 in my pocket, and tomorrow there will be money! And on Friday, I get the first G&D payment, so things have turned around today.

Hopefully, I will have more good news tomorrow night.

Back from a really fun lunch with Richard Sherman, Milt Larson and Richard Allen, mostly talking about the Sherman/Larson musical I saw last week.  I gave them my thoughts and will write further thoughts, since they thought my points were strong and well taken.
