Last night, TCB asked me, "George, could you record a show if it was just showing on your computer?"

I have a program that can capture some streaming video files, but it can't capture protected (usually meaning, paid for) files. I do have another program that's supposed to be able to just record everything that's on the screen, but since I still only have Windows XP, it doesn't really work. Maybe when I get a new computer, it will.

I only learned about it from my sister's boyfriend. He installed the program on my computer and taught me how to use it.

When I bought my first computer back in 1994, I jumped right in with both feet. But the older I get, the tougher it is to learn new things AND to remember the old things.
